Organization verification is designed for businesses, agencies, and other organizations that operate on Opengates. It confirms that the organization is a legitimate, registered entity.

What it proves: The organization is legally registered and the person managing the Opengates account is authorized to represent it.

Badge appearance: A gold/amber checkmark (✓) or a special organization badge displayed next to the organization's name on its profile.

How to Get Verified

The verification process is straightforward and can be completed directly within the Opengates app or website. Here's a step-by-step guide for each type:

Identity Verification Process

1. Navigate to verification settings: Go to Settings > Account > Verification (or look for a "Get Verified" banner on your profile page).

2. Select Identity Verification: Choose the "Identity Verification" option.

3. Prepare your documents: You'll need a valid government-issued photo ID. Accepted documents include:

   • Passport (most widely accepted)
   • National ID card
   • Driver's license
   • Residence permit

   The document must be:

   • Currently valid (not expired).
   • In good condition (readable, no damage covering key information).

In Search Results
